I am watching the Biggest Loser and the contestants went to Dallas, Texas to inspire others to get moving. They went to different radio shows to promote the 5K run and asked the community to come out and run with them. I have to tell you, it's amazing to see how the show has inspire a nation to make a change. I didn't lose the 79 lbs overnight. I watched 4 seasons of the Biggest Loser to get to 79 lbs and I know it's probably going to take another season to get to my goal weight. There was a lady name CJ who ran on the Gray Team (Koli and Sam) and she was determined to finish the 5K. The last time she remember walking that distance was 31 years ago. Koli and Sam ran back to help her finish. I know what it feels like to be in her shoe. It warmed my heart to see the Gray Team run back and help her finish. I ran my first 5k a couple of weeks ago and my trainer Saul ran by my side from start to finish. He's been running most of his life and competes professional on a national scale and averages a mile in 4 minutes. To have him run at my pace not only inspires me, but gives me courage that change is possible if you believe and put in the work. I was so grateful to have his support. This episode on the Biggest Loser reminded me how far I've also come on this journey. I am humble for the body I have and the mobility I have gain since losing the 79 lbs. For all of you out there, keep pushing hard. Change is possible!
Much love,
