I met with Saul today for a 2 mile run. I warmed up by walking first and then started the run and finished with a walk for the cool down. I'm feeling awesome. I still need to work on my form and breathing, but overall I'm feeling good. I'm not slouched over by the end of the run, so that's progress. I'm getting stronger physically and mentally every day. I'm preparing my mind for the 4 mile run tomorrow. I'm excited and am up for the challenge. I need to push and work harder to get past the pain. The 5k was tough and that was only 3.2 miles. The half marathon is 13.2 miles and seems like a stretch, but anything is possible.
I'm loving the new shoes. I feel a lot lighter. Perhaps it's all in my head, but as long as I stay positive and focus I'll reach my goal.
