Friday, 04/02/10

My body is aching. I finished my workout with Saul an hour ago. I walked for 25 minutes to warm . We started jogging at an even pace for a couple of minutes then I had to keep up with Saul for 1 minute and continue the whole cycle again. My legs were burning. My legs felt heavy the entire time, but by the end of the run it loosen up. I ran 2 miles in 22 minutes and 56 seconds. That's better than my last 2 mile run. I haven't been able to keep my breathing at an even pace. I'm still breathing really hard and hope that it'll get better by next week. Running outdoors is a lot harder than running on the treadmill. Although I have to say I really like running on the treadmill. By the time I got home, my body was hurting. I definitely took my time getting out of the car.

I'm meeting Saul again for another training session. Bring it on. I'm so proud of myself. These past two weeks have been hard but definitely worth the pain.

I need to practice my form and remember to keep my hands at waist level and stick my pelvis out and stand straight instead of slouch over. I'm determine to have this down so it becomes second nature.

Keep moving.
