Today, I met with Saul and had a lighter workout since the 5K is tomorrow. First we walked for about 25 minutes and ran for a mile at a conversational pace. He didn't want me to over do it. We finished by doing some drills: running at a fast pace at a short distance. Three weeks ago, I know I wouldn't have been able to even run a mile. It's amazing to see the progress and to see what the body and mind can do when you allow yourself to believe. I'm on a roll and plan to stay motivated. Tomorrow will be a harder workout, but like Saul said, "You've done the work. You did it last weekend. You'll do it again tomorrow and have fun."
