Week 7: Tuesday, April 27, 2010

Yes, I ran 3.5 miles non-stop last night!!! I'm not sure what my time was due to my stop watch going wacky on me, but I'm assuming my time was right around 40 minutes. Yay for me! One of my biggest problem are the beginnings of my run. I have such a difficult time pushing myself in the beginning, maybe due to the fact that I don't give my body enough time to warm up. I found that when I hit 7 to 10 minutes the run gets easier. By the time I hit about 15 minutes, my breathing gets better, my form is better, and my energy level is higher. Overall, I'm happy to hit the 3.5 mile mark!!!! Looking foward to 4 miles!

I ran 2 miles this morning. My time has improved by 1 minute, and I'll take it! Another 2 mile tonight!

FYI...my ankle feels better!
